Default TT E325 fbl head

Hi,
I flew my MT with the Mikado 450 FBL head, but crashed it quite badly last weekend and can't get all the spare parts for the head, so I'm looking to get a different one.

The TT FBL head looks quite nice and also seems to be reasonable priced, but I wonder how do you adjust the pitch.

I'm used to have the luxury of a head button and can use the t-piece from align with an old flybar and have something as reference perpendicular to the main shaft, but the TT head does't have a hole for a screw now a flat surface that I could use a digital pitch gauge.

So, before I buy it, I wanted to ask how do you guys adjust the pitch with this head. Maybe I'm just missing something here.

Thanks for your help.

Sven

Right now I use a Soko tool, but before I had that, I set 0 pitch by placing a hex driver through the blade grip and eyeing it for true with the main shaft. I also set the swash level using a zip tie.

I recommend the Soko tool though.

The Soko tool is for sure the Rolls Royce of pitch gauge systems. Even if you dont buy the Soko tool, you should read his setup procedure.
Im a cheapskate and have a hobbyking digital pitch gauge. Works fine to 0.2 degrees.

The plastic TT e325 fbl grips are also fine and keep the cost down. I actually prefer these over the alu grips.

thanks.
I'm currently trying to get it from infinity hobby, but most of the stuff is out of stock.

Is that only for that reseller, or does it appear that TT is generally slower with stop for spare parts?

There's a short list of parts required to upgrade the V1 head.

PV1290
PV1292
PV1293
PV1294

Not sure about the V2 head.

Thanks for the list.

I just ordered them. I found the linkage rod guide from the V2 more appealing, as it seems to be easier to work on. The part number for this one is PV1291

For the V2 head, parts are mostly the same, just the blade grips are different and around 20-25 USD more expensive.
