504Rone Registered Users Join Date: Sep 2008	Motor kv, pinion and gear ? I see most people with Trex 700 and 400kv motors run 18,19 or 20 tooth pinions on stock main gear. I'm Using a 520kv motor with a 115 tooth main gear and 12 tooth pinion. I've stripped 2 main gears In 10 flights it's only doing it with my 30c zippys if I punch it hard. With the 25c hyperions I don't have this problem. What Im trying to find out is what's the largest pinion I can put on here with a 164 main gear and if it will make my esc work harder by changing to a 164 tooth main gear.
