Need help with tail gain on trex500L
Hey all,,I just built the trex500L dominator w/microbeast plus.
Heli lifted off fine but just cant seem to get the tail set rite.. Iam using the stock tail servo that came with the kit..DS535..and running it @6v.Ive tried a few different gain numbers 40,50 60 and 30 ish.. It goes back and forth(not real fast) and if I give it rubber input,it has a rachet effect..so the tail does not move smooth,,never seen a heli tail act like that ?? No problums with the older style 7200bx and such,,this micrebeast plus is all new to me so,,if anyone has some input,,love to hear!..ty I had norman mode RPMs @ 0/30/60/60/60 and also tried 0/35/70/70/70 Last edited by hawkeye690; 01-25-2017 at 11:17 AM.. Sounds like a mechanical problem . Check for any binding and make sure everything on the tail and linkage are moving smoothly. Check blade tightness . Don't need them real tight . Usually gain problem makes a high speed oscillation .
