I've always really liked the 500x, just never pulled the trigger. I may consider it now... But I'm also concerned about it being discontinued so early in its life.

A 500 is almost twice as big! It flys so much bigger! Better wear a diaper for the first few flights you WILL make a mess of yourself

I'm not really concerned... The 500 3D and 500x share many common parts... seeing how profit margins are relatively high on spare parts, it's not really that difficult for them to keep supporting it. It's also likely that another heli will come out sharing many of the same parts. Blade likes to do that to keep tooling costs down.
