Default Not enough power to tail?

It will fly fine for the first 2 or 3 minutes after that any application of throttle about 25-30 results it the tail blowing out.

I replaced the tail motor and blades and still have the same issue. when I recharge the packs they are around 3.9 v and taking less that 300 ma out of the 500 so they are not really dead at all.

I thought maybe the main shaft it bent causing excessive torque to spin but when I removed the main gear the shaft spun around just fine.

I replaced the main motor and after that the heli had less power barley about to take off at full throttel and even with the reduced power after a few minutes that tail still gave out.

I cant believe the new motor is worse that the original one and wonder if the gear mesh it to tight but there does not seem to be a way to adjust it.

Your batteries are near death. Storage voltage for these batteries are 3.8v. Fully charged is 4.20.

Sorry my writing was not clear, the packs are at 3.9 v after flying to the point where the tail gives out not after charging them.

Make sure the tail rotor is on the shaft the right way around.
One side of the blades is nice and smooth blades.
The other the blades form a distinctive X.

Make sure the X side is towards the motor! otherwise the tail will not hold

Check it and see.
