Default 3.7 volt 1C Lipo battery question

I have a Genius CP and use the 300mah 3.7volt 1C lipos. I've read you can run them down by 80% capacity? Is the 80% from the rated capacity or the charged capacity. They charge to 4.2 volts which should mean I can run them down to 3.3 volts ? Is this correct because 80% of 3.7 volts is only 2.9 volts Thanks

This would be better served in the "main" forum and not in the "for sale" forum

This is a classified forum, not for general questions...

However, when referring to 80%, it is to the capacity (mah), not the voltage. When you recharge, you should put back no more than 80% of 300mah or 240mah.

Never discharge a lipo cell below 3.0 volts. It will ruin the battery.

Better to keep your LVC(low voltage cutoff) at or around 3.4v
