Default Speed canopy

How do you go about getting a speed canopy for the TDR 2011?

I emailed Jan, but never heard back from him?

John

John, I recently ordered a speed canopy from Jan along side a parts order that I placed at his webstore. I just added my request for the canopy to the notes section of my order and Lilly got in contact with me via email and sent a separate invoice for the price of the canopy within a day or so.

They are made on order, normally takes a few days to ship, absolutely the best looking canopy for the TDR. Take note only available in yellow and black.

And white! White is currently the only color on stock, waiting myself for a black one!

Haha glad I could help convince you, John!

With regard to color, I was only offered white for what it's worth. That works fine for me though because I'm going to get it custom painted eventually.

Do the stock Henseleit TDR Canopy decals fit on the Speedy-canopy as well (?)

I was thinking that it would look nice with these ;

Just a short info from Jan:
Yes, Speed Canopies are still availble. But as I stated earlier only white ones in stock.
Best way to order one is via e-mail, might take a few days for an answer depending on how busy he is.
Other colors than white will be ordered for a restock soon, so if you want a different color than white write him an e-mail and he can plan a little ahead for the order!

Anyone with some pics of the speed canopy, I would appreciate to see more?
It would also be nice to see the differences by having a side by side of the two types if anyone has both.
I tried to look in the picture section but <search> didn't do me much good

Very narrow, you loose the two rubber tipped canopy supports on the front and these are replaced by big aluminum balls which fit into brackets glued to the inside of the canopy. It is also deeper in the front with a more rounded bottom for less drag. Will take pics when I'm home later.

PuttPutt, here are a few pics of my speed canopy including a side-by-side pic with my stock canopy. It hasn't been painted yet, so the difference in coloring between the speed and stock canopies may contribute to the perceived difference in sizing, but you should get a reasonable feel for things...

It is incredibly narrow and despite having seen it many times in photos, it was still surprising to me when I first saw it in person.

Cheers,
- Justin

Thanks guys, I appreciate.
I think an order is in the work especially since my last canopy suffered a bit from my last dumb programming of my ESC.

Gorgeous. I have an Insane so I am resisting to buy this one but I do like it more than the standard one.

Hmmm! I never thought that Oracover could be used, does it stick well on the boom?
