Default Parts availability, or lack of

So I just had to order main gears from Australia (I am in the US).

What do you other US E4 owners do for parts? I don't really want to mothball my E4, but if I have to pay international shipping every time I need something, I may have to.

$25. Not that bad, but I always seem to be missing just one thing, so I'd rather not pay that every time.

Yes, please. I looked at it on xheli; it doesn't look like a clone. I might be looking at the wrong thing.

I have been getting parts from Fast Lad in the UK.
They ship really fast. I ordered Tuesday , got it Thursday .. But it's expensive. , I just order lots of parts to make the shipping worth it .

Hey guys. Joe's "Beam parts house" just opened up.I've got hundreds of dollars worth of NIB Beam parts, good used or opened parts and two complete BNF flybar Beam e4's.I haven't had much opportunity to fly anything be it rotary or fixed wing in about a year and I'm starting to entertain selling off a bunch of R/C stuff. Heli stuff is about the only thing I'd consider shipping because the size and weight are manageable and that's the only reason I'm offering it up here. Airplanes and cars will be local sale only.

Aside from one Hobby King clone 9257 rudder servo it's the best of everything on both of the birds. Scorpion, Spektrum, Hitec, Futaba, Align etc. I'm not interested in anything but an all or nothing sale as I don't want to get stuck with bits and pieces so please don't ask me to part it out.

I'm not going to give this stuff away and as I think about how much money is sitting there and knowing I can never recoup it all it kills me to put a realistic price of $600.00 plus shipping for a quick sale. No transmitter, batteries or charger are included. If that price doesn't scare you off and you are GENUINELY interested in a package like this and not just curious then P.M. me and I can give a more detailed list of what is included.

Joe

I'm looking into this Heli as a first 450 size chopper and wanted to know if it's worth it. The one I'm looking at is a great deal (with quite a few extra parts) but I'm really worried that the parts are going to kill me and I won't be able to replace them as I'd need.

Are they reliable? Or should I got with an Align? I'm in Canada too.

Chris
Even though im in Aus and have no probs getting parts, i tend to buy "used" most of the time. When im after an item, i look to similar deals like TurboJoe has above. That way you get a RTF heli and "usually" some/heaps of spares.

Buying kits is also a good way to go for me as, like the OP, i HATE spending more $$ on postage than what the item is im after.

You can also shop direct to Korea for parts if you wish.

Cheers
