Default TIGHTEN YOUR SCREWS!!!!!!!!

If you are reading this (which I know you are) please take this opportunity to tighten your screws! Go over the head, tail, frame, and all mounts and check for any loose screws tighten any that you find to be loose. Hey I'm just here to help so this is just a friendly reminder. Helping 1 screw at a time! Don't forget to check the screws inside the tail blade grips they are often times overlooked!

LOL

I've found a few loose screws recently, now I always threadlock

I'm going in hospital for an operation in October and will need 2 weeks leave to recover - can't wait I'll still be able to take my heli down the park!!!

Just realised, I will be able to hear my heli in stereo after 30 yrs deafness in one ear!!

LOL! Unfortunately I wouldn't want to sneak out with a heli at the moment, even if the weather permitted. There's a high probability I would end up redecorating my DX7

Good luck with the operation, Copterboy - hearing the blades whip the air in stereo is definitely going to be worth it. I had an ear lock up during the night a few weeks ago, and couldn't clear it for hours... Made me realize how much of our 3D perception is actually aided by sound.

Haha...no plans yet, but will do eventually. We talked about all that and as we're both 33 y.o, we wanted to get on with kids first (whilst we still got our health) and get married later. Still doesn't stop her from dropping hints though...lol!!

Ps. Congrats on the exam results - wish I had worked that hard at school now. I wanna change of career from payroll/finance to plumbing, but my options are limited by my crappy result's...so well done again!

Default Screwing all night

I am gonna be at it all night I just got back from 10 days in Spain (without my helis unfortunately!) so need to get the CopterX build completed this week before I head off to Kuwait again (am taking the CopterX with me this time). Didn't like the cross head screws in the CopterX frame so have bought the Align hex nut set and will rebuild the frame with these tonight (threadlocking all of course).

Really should screw my belt a bit too but that can wait till I am finished with the CopterX.

Must resist...comments would probably cause offence!!! By the way 'The Bump' is really growing now, 17wks. Got next scan in 3 weeks.

Didn't even get a full battery on it tonight, too windy and got a problem to fix with the rudder servo. I mentioned that I stripped an SG90 and had to swap it to an Align servo, well now the tail just won't hold.

Think I know what's causing it so will do some work tomorrow. I'll either be asking your help again or let you know how my screwing about is doing!!
