DX8 gen2 settings for mcpx v2?

so the answer is probably obvious but I just can't figure it out. I'm trying to program my mcpx v2 into my DX8 gen 2 and the guide in the manual for the regular DX8 doesn't translate well enough for me to figure it out. Does anyone else have a solution for this issue?

Program your DX8 for

1) Linear Pitch Curve in all modes (ex 0-25-50-75-100)
2) Linear Throttle Curve in Normal Flight Mode (0-25-50-75-100)
3) Flat Throttle Curve in IU1 (75-75-75-75-75)
4) Deep V Throttle Curve in IU2 (100-85-70-85-100)

Set Pitch servo travel to 75 pos/neg

That should get it flying
