5 1/2min hard 3d is pretty damn impressive for a 90 size electric.

Beautiful. But I didn't like the tail gear design, the front bevel tail transmission has been problematic on other .90 before.

I wondered about that too. It could work fine as long as:

1. Any fore-aft movement of the tail shaft gear was eliminated. This should be easy depending on the forward tail bearing block design.
2. Any up-down movement of the main shaft was eliminated (thrust bearings would help).
3. Any deflection of the tail shaft was eliminated near the crown gear.
4. Any deflection of the main shaft was eliminated near the crown gear. It appears to have a third mainshaft bearing below the main gear so this should help.

I hope they captured all of this. I REALLY REALLY like the design! Low parts count and 'sacrificial' frame elements. Packs are better protected in a crash too since they're not in a long 'stick' configuration. Good job Gaui!

No doubt! I've got 12 new Hyperion 6S 4200mah packs waiting for a home. Just got my 24V @ 47A power supply rigged up, and a new Hyperion Duo 0720i charger! I'll just get a 700e until the X7 comes out...but I wish they'd HURRY!

I know what you mean! But sometimes a deal comes along that is so good you just can't pass it up.

Within a few months I'm moving to Thailand where 30% nitro fuel is $33 per gallon...so I'm ditching (reluctantly) both my 700LEs and going all electric. I might sell off some of the packs and buy a 2000W Yamaha generator...we'll see. I want to be able to fly back-to-back ALL day.

700E set up - I have (6 batts) 3 flight packs, 2000 Yamaha geny(works perfect all the time), 90 amp iota Power supply, 2 parallel charge boards, 2 250w ichargers, and 2 VOLTZ 1000w chargers. I can fly my 700E back to back, well almost. about 5-10 minutes between flights at most. I charge at 2C+ most of the time.

I wonder when small consumer nuclear power plants will be avaiable

Then we can try making a 1500 size heli,
ok joking aside, what's the biggest rc heli available?

Edit*
I should of googled first
small nucular reactors are real
