upgrade dfc headblock
I was looking into replacing the headblock on my 500 dfc with one that clamps to the shaft and has the jesus bolt.. I've noticed here that some people are using tarot and others but do they accept stock align spindles and blade grips? I don't mind using them but it would be nice to use stock spindles etc. if there is one, where do ya get it? thanks ..I did see the KDE one but they don't have the dfc

well I got a vctrc complete dfc head, took it all apart and greased everything and measured the spindle and guess what..same as align headblock clamps to mainshaft quality looks ok.. we'll see how bearings hold up..also installed plastic servo arms. I do have a compass/tracx head enroute also but a little more pricey..

Pretty sure the kde one is a direct replacement for the align one(dfc).....and they're on sale for half.....
http://www.kdedirect.com/collections...s/at500p-mrhfb And I have several of the vctrc ones on my 500 and 550 - they're just as good as the kde - however mine are the conventional links......

Just wondering how these MR heads are working for you guys. I converted two 500"s over (one belted and one Ttube) from FB to FBL using the Tarot (non-dfc) heads. I use the Bavarian Demon which is very vibe tolerant but have never been able to get either one of these helis to fly real good. (Love the Bavarian on my Goblin 700 and Trex 550)
After tons of troubleshooting and changing parts, I have found that the Tarot MR block does not fit tightly on the MR shaft. You can pull it in one direction and then tighten it level but that doesn't hold in flight. Before I try another brand, I was wondering how these other ones are working for you guys.
