Default Help...I need to replace my Quantum's 4125-560 shaft

Hi all.
Accidentally I shortened the shaft much more than I was expecting in order to put on my Goblin 570.Now I am waiting for a new shaft.
The problem is how to replace the shaft as it is my first time.
Shall I need an arbor press?I have seen that it has two hidden hexa screws at the end of the shaft in the back side of motor. If I unscrew these two hexa screws shall I be able to remove the rotor shaft?

Any suggestions recommendations please?

A press isn't the only way, but it is certainly a good way. All you need is a dowel slightly smaller than the shaft to push it out with the press. A suitable press is relatively inexpen$ive.

Many thanks for your reply.
I managed to take out the shaft finally without any arbor press.
I used a small soft hammer and pulling the shaft "gently" with a nose drill.

Sockets, heat, and c clamp. Use green loctite or sleeve retainer, keeps out corrosion as well as locks it in place
