Default tail moves sitting still ?

Hello, I have a AR7200BX with a TORQ 9188 tail servo on a goblin 700. I'm having problems with the tail holding, I have tried playing with the tail gain in the radio and on the AR7200 with no luck. The heli will fly. After many attempts I have seen that the tail will be moving when the heli is just sitting on the ground ?. I can get the tail to hunt and wag but it will not hold still. Can any one help I'm open for any and all segg. Thanks

I had the same problem
Tail hunting like that. It was on my trex 550.
I moved the unit from the top where it was
To the bottom under where the tail servo goes.
Problem went away. It could be picking up vibes

If the tail is moving with the heli sitting on the ground and not spooled up, I would suspect the servo or the wiring. Test the servo if you have the ability or try another if you have one.

Check the monitor on your radio for output, maybe a gimbal pot is getting tired. You could also increase the deadband a touch and see if that helps.

+1 on the radio check. I was just assuming the same radio is being used for all the helis listed in his signature, and they are not showing this symptom.

I had my tail drifting and it was due to tight tail servo wires entering the AR7200BX. Just a another item to check.

Hello, It was a bad tail servo., I changed the tail servo with another TORQ 9188 and moved the servo arm ball out to 16mm from 13mm. Now the tail is as smooth as a babies but. Thanks for all your segg.
