Default MQX out today

Took my mqx out today. Wind at 5 mph with a few gusts. Harder to control than my 180qx but plenty power to handle the wind! Good practice.
I need to do more flying in the wind. Don

It's fun to fly a variety of helis and quads. I like the MQX and 180qx because many of the parts are the same. Don

the wind died down a bit, and the rain quit for a few minutes AND I had a charged battery...

I flew the MQX which has been a wall hanger for a LONG time! it was one of my first quads... it is amazing how far cf's have come - the MQX is not near as "locked in" as I remembered it, but a blast to fly... "no fear"!

Still enjoy my MQX, was my first quad and started my addition. It has been beat to hell and back and still flys like a champ. I did not fly it for a while and was surprised at how much better I am with it.

That's what I do with my micro quads and helis. I even fly while I'm watching TV. I figure that if I can follow the show while flying, something's getting drilled into the ol' brain!

Had mine out again today. 2 mph wind and gusts of 6 or more.
amazing what you can do with more room to fly! I did make several quick landings when the wind took it.
It handled the wind great but i need a little more skill! don

Only one cartwheeling crash after a blast of wind today this morning! I still enjoy flying it. No auto leveling, a gyro which is not so good, etc. All of which make the QX Quads fly like kittens in comparison. Durable as ever, blades all bent and wonky, but working just fine. Love this thing.

Anyone still fly it in + mode?
