Binding Blade 450 3Dto DX6i

When I purchased my 450 3D it was the RTF version with the dx6i, I have now purchased another 2nd hand and wonder how I go about binding this to my current dx6i, I know I will need to create a new model in the memory but can I use the bind plug which was in the RTF version to bind the (2nd hand) to the same remote or will my remote then not recognise the original model. Sorry prob a stupid question but I have never had to bind a new model and just wondered if I can just use the same bind plug from my RTF . Advice greatly appreciated

Any bind plug will work. Put it in the bind plug port and plug the battery in to the heli. Hold the trainer switch while turning on your tx until the Rx light comes on and you are good to go.
