Exclamation new thunder tiger titan x50e
And Thunder Tiger Europe has released a first teaser picture of the Titan X50 Electric. Based on the well-known nitro-powered version and specially designed for today’s powerful 8S to 12S LiPo setups the electric variant will become available as both flybar and flybarless version for choice of F3C and 3D flights. More details with specs and features will be released soon. finally there comeing out with the 50 class E and man dose it look sweet!

Mine arrived today, and the build has begun. Head together (FBL version) Torque drive done, start on frames tomorrow....

Looks like they're going with a metal tail case, carbon boom supports, metal boom clamp, etc. right from the start.

Looks like we might need another sub-forum.

Main gear modulus 0.8, same modulus as Fusion 50, same problem will show up, not strong enough ...

I'm not talking bad about it, I like the design of it but read this

and modulus 0.8 is simply not enough for the amount of power we have today with electric ... modulus 0.8 is perfect for 50 size nitro ...
The advantage is the CNC main gear, better than molded one ...

Fusion 50 has LOT of problems with main gear due to the same choice ...
I'm sure TT will upgrade this rapidly if problems are showing up rapidly ...

Don't take thing personally it's just technical ...

This is my response from TT yesterday 01/17/2012 on me searching for a E550/E620.

When we started to support Thunder Tiger in 2010, the E550 and the E620 models were not received. We did receive a few parts for these models.

There is supposed to be an electric version of the X50 helicopter coming soon which is about the same size as the E620.

Hi mate not sure who is selling them i think he is a sponsored pilot as for the release i think 3-4 weeks max before we see these hit the shelf.

For those who are concern of the 0.8 mod gear.....
no worry...use the old E620 main gear and you will have a mod 1 gear for this wonderful X50E heli.
Straight fit... no mod required, thickness is not same as the stock 0.8 mod gear...but no issue as if it can fly the heavy E620...it is not a problem for the X50E lightweight machine.

Had two flights on it...very good.
