I have everything back together after ordering a lot of new parts simply because the xtreme anti rotation gear would not work, so got a new head, feathering shaft, main shaft and main gear since i had to destroy the other parts. But as I put in the new metal swash the anti rotating bracket broke. Trying to glue it back now, any possible fix or spare part to order? All I see is the main frame with the bracket. It will be sad if I did all of that work and waited a long time, only to not fly because of that anti rotation bracket. Wondering if it was the right move buying a walkera again. Hope to get things working tomorrow.

Gee, seems like no one is in this area anymore. Anyhow, I used JB weld and it seems to be holding. But still not incredibly happy with it despite all of the upgrades. I will work on it this weekend.

My experience is that the v120d02s doesn't need much upgrading to be a great heli.

I found that its design doesn't bode well for weight, keep it as light as possible, keep it simple and it will fly great. Even a larger battery starts messing with its ability to perform.

Nothing wrong with sticking with Walkera, they are competitively priced in a hobby that charges much too much for plastic bits.

I've never had problems with the stock frame and stock AR guide.

I do like the Xtreme skids, because you can buy plastic only replacements.

The anti rotation bracket works fine now that it is fixed, but the metal swash from extreme always pops out and has caused me to drop altitude a few times now. Thinking about buying a stock swash now. I have the spin motor in so you would think it would have enough power. Not buying anymore upgrades for this helicopter, if it does not fly how I like in the next couple of weeks I will just sell it and take it as another thing to learn from. Just tried a flip and it couldn't complete it. TC is right, maybe I will raise it since I thought the TC should be lower with a more powerful motor. Shall see how it goes, so far have 2 sets of main blades that are now causing vibes because they are scuffed. Not buying any more until I know the heli is more reliable.

Collar came loose, that is why I lost altitude.
