Default Trex 500 or trex 600 night bird

Okay I've got a trex 500 and 600 but not sure witch should turn into a night bird. The 600 is Fb for now. Has a ugly canopy think be great for led for night and needs replaced for a day canopy but not sure.. what are my options for blades for both??
I finally got to see a guy night flying in person I think main blades and boom is mostly what I seen.. he didn't have a canopy on it..

I would definitely do the canopy.

There aren't many options for night blades, but making your own is not really that hard, and it's a really rewarding experience. I started with a 500 size heli, and I will eventually build a bigger one.

If you choose to buy blades, you will not find many 425mm night blades. You're more likely to find 600 mm night blades. Since the 600 canopy is ugly, I think it will make the perfect heli to start with

heli/blades
450=325mm
500=425mm
600=600mm? does a 600 really have 600mm on them? i not sure what size are on mine, i need to measure them

im not sure about building my own blades. but sure i can find bigger ones better then smaller but wow there not cheap i did find some 95mm tail night blades. there proud of them

Your blade sizes are correct, yes.

Night blades are very expensive, making them yourself isn't bad as long as you have basic soldering skills and a pair of tweezers. Check out the stickies

oh alright then, i guess 550 helis use 550mm blades. if all helis went by blades in mm it be better

Nope, most 550s swing 520mm blades. I stretched my trex550 with the trex600 boom to run 550mm blades.

"Most" actually means mostly Align. Compass, Mikado, KDS, Blade etc all use 550mm. Goblin helis all are named by their blade size

Align helis have stupid names. The rest of the market has grown and started calling helis by their blade sizes.

Align and clones. The Gaui x5 uses 520s too. I agree too, it would be much simpler if all helis were named their blade sizes. The night blades I made for my stretched 550 are 520s. They're also flybar blades. I need to get them in the air.
