Can the Flymentor be turned on and off in the air with a DX6i?

Yes if you use FM's internal tail gyro, your gyro gain channel would be free for switching.

Yes both one on balance mode (indoors) and one on position mode (outdoors), was quite a windy day.

Balance mode / Horizontal mode holds the heli level but it is subject to drift (wind etc'), Position mode is the other and in that mode the heli is held in locked one positionmuch as is possible (on FM only effective to altitude of up to 6ft).

With FM installed on my helis the only money spent is on upgrades. Crash repairs are a thing of the past

This maybe a silly question but does the FM replace the gyro that is already installed on my Blade 450?
