Last night till about 12 AM I was messing with the copter. At one point I stumbled across a youtube vid teaching how to fix tail wagging on the SR. He was tuning the gyro via the stock radio on the ch5 knob. So i decided do do what he was doing and I opened up the "gyroscope" setting on my FS-T6 . I had to turn the gyro to "on" and began playing with the gains/rates. I set it to 52% gain and the heli stabilized on the ground!

I got the Dynam because i got a deal on eBay for $100 ARF, Dynam claims its a beginners CP and and aerobatic and stable enough for both types of flying (norm/idle up). Ive been flying Coax helis (Cx2) and I'm a master at it and love flying it. I actually read that my Fst6 binds to the WL v911, I like the copter and its really price effective especially in BNF form. I might give it a shot. But the cool thing about the Dynam is that the parts are DIRT CHEAP. Just about all the parts are $10 or less! I can get the entire CF frame for $8! It seems like a good investment.
I also use a simulator for mobile devices called "Absolute Rc heli sim" made by Clearview rc simulators. I normally fly the Trex 450 in idle up and can perform some nice loops and rolls with it. |

The next time you have an issue with this or someone else does, now you can help them and you know what to look for! Ok the other things you need to know about the SR at least and tail issues are this... 1. If it turns counter clockwise, you should check for these things: 1. Tail blade loose in the grip assembly (believe me I know about this!) It may seem like it's tight, but it'll fool you...to check it put a driver in the Allen head bolt that holds it on, hold the tail from the other side and take your finger and try to spin the blade (no power on the heli) with your finger. Use a little bit of pressure to do this, if it moves either try and tighten it a bit more or replace the tail blade. 2. Blade in backwards. Self explanatory.... If you look at the tail from the right side of the heli the curved part on the very top of the blade should turn clockwise. You wouldn't believe how easy it is to mess that up or not pay attention to how the blade is installed on there, then wonder why it's spinning around on spool up.... 3. Wires soldered backwards, it happens.... Don't hesitate to ask questions, you can PM me, or Keith about any issues. Keith knows his stuff and I believe is familure with the radio your using so he would be a big help with any issue with that also.

If parts are that cheap then good, but be sure to check around and make sure they are readily available also. Some of those heli's are very cheap to fix, but getting the parts usually is a slow boat from China, and a month or more wait. Also be wary of cheap parts....they may break very easily and you'll spend all your time fixing it instead of flying. As you progress you'll begin getting an eye for certain heli's that you prefer, you'll like how they fly and how they go together when working on them.

Hey Rodney, thanks for the compliments but a lot of stuff that I know about the SR I learned from you.
James, like Rodney said I do know a good bit about the TX that you have. I use a Turnigy 9x which is the same as the Flysky th9x. It a bit of a step up from the TX that you have. So if you need help with the TX I'll do my best to help you out. Yes, the WL V911 will bind to the Flysky TX. It just needs to be programmed correctly. But the V911 is an indoor heli. The V912 is bigger and is an outdoor heli and also will bind to the Flysky TX and is around $50 for a BNF. I have both the V911 and V912 and both are bound to my Turnigy TX.
