Theres a couple of minor differences between the Z,ZX,ZXX bearing bushes etc but the main difference is the clutch assembly

The Z had the spring loaded clutch
The ZX has the soild clutch
ZXX = same as ZX but with one way bearing and top start

It's difficult to upgrade the Z,ZX to a ZXX top start because the main frames don't have the corresponding holes for the top starter support bearing. It can be done though.

Cheers

Here's a video of my Evo 50 equipted with my newly installed navigation and warning strobes.

Here's a vid of me flying at dusk testing out my Navigation and warning strobes.

This was shot at about approx 20 minutes to night fall.

Default Old Shuttle Lives Again!

I was given this long time ago, my Son and I installed new servos and a GY401 knock-off gyro and he flew it today for the first time.
Very smooth, great to learn with. That cheap gyro worked great
