Default 550 CF PRO vs 550 G10 PRO vs 550 SILVER PRO

Can anyone tell me what the differences or advantages between these 3 kits?

G10 is G10 (not sure what G10 is though, I have heard graphite and I have heard fiberglass), Sliver is Silver weave fiberglass, and CF is Carbon Fiber. I like G10 the best since it's durable and cheap, but they are only making CF from now on which I can understand since essentially every other heli is CF and I guess anything that isn't is looked down upon by the gp. Look at MSH and Mikado, they have good plastic material but they are converting to CF too.

thanks. I have a Gaui 425 and am considering selling it and buying a o550 or a Fuion 50. Cant decide, leaning to the fusion 50.

Whatever you can find the cheapest! All are good. I don't like the look of the silver myself.

The fusion is a nice machine but if you like belts go with the 550.

Nobody asked your opinion on looks... Just kidding Pete...

I like it, but I may change one over to CF.

G10 is Garolite, a fiberglass like material, like what circuit boards are made of, silver is Silver Texalium Weave, and of course like Lazor pointed out, cf is cf.

G10 Garolite

Silver Texalium

How well does the O550 autorotate with a belt drive tail. And is there a TT upgrade?

It autorotates very well. The TT upgrade would be to buy a fusion 50 and use 550mm blades. But I prefer a belt. A lot less complicated and doesn't eat up tail gears.

Which just goes to show, that with enough additional garish colors, even the most attractive canopy can look, um, well, garish.
