Default HKRC 10A Esc keeps rebooting ?

Hi !

I'm new to this kind of mod. I've an mcpx with a v2 board and wanted to try to do a full BL mod. I've bought :
- HKRC 10A esc + HP05S for main
- HKRC 3.5A + C05S for tail

First test was simply with main (no flash of ESC, using it as it was delivered), and it was working correctly. Then I added the tail ESC and decided to flash both ESC to latest BLHeli.

I'm wondering if I haven't fried the main ESC, as now I can't get it to properly arm at start. I do get the 3 initial beeps and nothing else until I move the throttle up. Then, I get a long low tone beep immediately followed by a long high tone beep. And then, no matter what I do, the motor won't start. When I move the throttle randomly, I can have the 3 beeps again, then low-long followed by high-long beeps, 3 beeps again, .... My ESC does not follow the regular start sequence (it does not wait for throttle to be 0 to do the high-long beep).

I've removed the tail ESC but it does not change anything.

If I plug the brushed main motor, then everything works as expected, so I guess the 3in1 board is ok

I've tried to flash again and again new BLHeli, I've tried other governor mode (same behavior).

[I'm using a DX6i]

This ESC has never been used, but maybe I've fried it ?

Try this if your in TX GOV mode on the ESC's. I like to arm using throttle hold instead of moving the throttle up and down and it will arm both your main and tail ESC's.

Set your Normal flight mode throttle curve to 70% flat and your IU throttle curve to 75 flat for starters.75% to 78% is about all your going to get out of a HP05.

Turn on Tx, set fight mode to normal and set throttle hold to on.

Plug in battery and the motor will beep three times. Let 3-n-1 initialize and blue light is solid.

Flip throttle hold off and back on again. This will arm the ESC. You will hear two long tones.

Flip throttle hold off again and the motor will smoothly spool up.

Once the motor has come up to speed, you can switch between flight modes.

Default Solved !

Thanks NCcraig, but it was still not working.

But I've found the problem : v14 of blheli. I've downgraded to 13.2 and it works fine. In fact, everything before 14.0 works.
