Planning a meet up with another HF member at LFE tomorrow morning at 10am to throw the 44 Magnum around in the air. You're welcome to drop by if you're interested.

Default Running A Conversion Kit

Hey everyone, I am seriously considering on pulling my nitro engine out of my 700 installing a turbine in it. Does anyone know of a good conversion to get and which turbine to install? What additional electronics / equipment would I need to get to successfully convert the 700 and fly. Please let me know if you would please, thank you in advance.

Wren 44 definitely the best choice. I think that the Heli-chris.de is a first-class conversion for the Trex.

Default Mag 44

Well, my 44 arrived 2 days earlier than what UPS scheduled delivery. Here is the result of putting it together over this weekend. Still quite a way to go, but hopefully will get it done by next week. The process was easy to follow. Thanks to the well laid out, detail photos that Chris and his team at Bergen put together.

You going to bring that bad boy to IRCHA?

I am flying back from the UK with my freshly serviced 44. I will be putting it back together in the Bergen tent at IRCHA if anyone wants to help!

Lou

Just wanna share the good news with you gents. After 2 long months of wait, it arrived one week ago. Today, her feet left the ground and flew great. Took me just 2 turns of the Pitch Links to tracked her up. I have to learn to get used to the pitch response as it is a little slower than my other nitro hopper.
