Thanks DT reasuring and useful information. I have had around 30 flights now and the servos seem very happy, as do I At least now I know that I can get the eyelets if required.
Charging up a set of packs as I type. It's my daughters 3rd Birthday today, so I thought i'd sneak in a few flights before her party.

I just thought I'd add something to the thread. On installing the tail rotor shaft, there are 2 cutouts. The cutout that is further in on the shaft, fits into the flanged bearing and the other side off course onto the tail rotor hub. This will help with the geometry on setting things up. Sorry I dont have any pics for this. I will post if required.

The video was only a short time public in the Diabolo/Canopy Section on minicopter.de.

The person is a professional foil designer who will not be seen on public and we must respect that. So everyone who will see the videos should send a mail to info@minicopter.de and he will get the links. But please do not publish them.

I had a bit of a hickup during the build. Ups... I was not applying too much force actually, it just broke where the ball joins the rest of the part. I just noticed when ordering a replacement part 078 that the picture on the shop is a straight ball link similar to the TDR one. This one seems to have a thinner neck. I think I'll solve it temporarily with a TDR ball link, seems to be the exact same length. I have to check my spares (which are in storage and its 2:30am...) and then see if it screws in ok. So, be careful when screwing this in!!!

I just checked mine and it has a straight shaft, not tapered like yours.

Thank you. Try as you might, it's hard to escape Align, they make useful securing tapes too.

I purchased a Mikado towel just to get rid of my Align towel, though I agree, they make good towels........

As is usual, Gerd offered prime service. He shipped 2 replacement ball links early today at no cost.

Tonight I'll see if I can use the TDR parts in the meantime.
