Most current version of battery trays?
My 7S packs just showed up so tonight I need to mount them to my battery trays.
My current trays have two plastic eyelets up front (one on each side) and they way they orient the tray leaves the back of the rear pack dangling. I was going to redrill the trays to reverse them so both packs would be fully supported. Looking at Peak's webpage the trays shown there only have a single plastic eyelet in the center of the tray and are drilled on both ends (so you can reverse the tray if needed.) My trays look like this, drilled on one end only with two eyelets... http://www.minicopter.de/catalog/adv...dhk5t6&x=0&y=0 While the trays on Peak look like this, drilled on both ends to allow reversing the tray and only a single eyelet: http://www.peakaircraft.com/Products...n=D155&pID=255 So, is the single-eyelet tray the latest design? Just debating if I should drill 4 holes and mount two eyelets as my trays currently are or just drill 2 holes in the center and use a single eyelet. I'm sure either way will work fine although I kind of like the idea of having the battery tray captured by two eyelets...

Thanks. I'll reverse the tray and redrill for both eyelets. I was leaning towards using two eyelets anyways just for a little extra safety margin.

Yikes. I'd hate to be that unfortunate person...

The difference between the single and the double is the single can bend the shaft in a hard crash both are very secure in flight!!
