Talking My 7th month flying. Blowing some sand off!

Hey guys, starting my 7th month flying now, and kinda had the itch to do a lil bit low flying making some sand mess lol. Practised a lot with my mcpx and sim for the last 6 months, but most of all, resources and advice from you helifreaks have made the learning process easier and more enjoyable. Thanks a lot!

I have to be honest here, i came from a coaxial in my first 2 weeks and transitioned to the cp mcpx causing quite a bit of frustrations at first, and did have to upgrade it a bit, such as an extended boom, the micro heli head block to prevent the pitch links from popping off, brushless conversion, cf frame, and so on. But it was winter and I was being able to fly a lot in my friend's small warehouse and got the hovering and slow forward flight nailed within one month, and decided i want to do a little bit more and got myself the phoenix sim last december, I can't speak for others but in my own experience, it was very much worth it, and growing with it was fun!

Nice flying man, nice fast progress. Some people are naturals but it ultimately comes down to practice practice practice and you've done a lot of hours in 7 months it sure shows in you confident flying. Love the möbius flips you were doing, going to have to learn that trick next I think.

Maybe you should let your local hobby store let you try it first then you can decide?

Thanks Sambuka! Practice practice practice is definitely right, confidence and trust your machine and yourself is when you can start pushing and learning some new stuffs for sure. I still shake from time to time, but my brain doesn't fart too much no more lol. Happy flying, cheers!
