They are rated 2s-3s, I'm planning to run them on 5000mAh 4s, 8×6 MasterAirscrew 3bladed props, hexa configuration, ~ 2.5kg AUW.
Should I do it or no?

Well 980 is a little high KV but to be totally honest, there is nothing special about a motor that makes it rated for 2s or 4s

So bench test it. Watch you watt meter and temps.

Those are small props so I bet you'd be fine.

True KV is a bit lower, around 910 (someone tested Sunny Sky motors on the other forum)
