Default Helicommand 3d upgrade to rigid?

Where can i send my helicommand in for a upgrade to rigid? I want to go flybarless. Also with the rigid, does this mean the helicommand is always on for flybarless? or what?

For that type of upgrade you'll need to return to the factory in Germany to upgrade to Rigid

You have to select flybarless Rigid mode in the software on the RIGID tab. You could run it as a 3D version until you remove the flybar.

Thumbs up

Return it to CAPTRON in Germany and they will do the upgrade very quickly. Just sent a 3A and a 3D for upgrade - Arrived at their factory on the Monday and I had them back on the Saturday (UK).
Cost was 72 Euro (+VAT (Tax) + postage) for an upgrade from a 3D to a Rigid - Double that from a 3A to a Rigid, ie upgrade cost from 3A to 3D thence 3D to Rigid.

Well worth the upgrade (and cheaper than a new unit) and VERY impressed with CAPTRONs performance and assistance on this.

Try emailing Joachim Eulefeld (j.eulefeld@captron.de) for information etc - He was a great source of help during my recent upgrades and speaks very good english.

He will be able to help you with regard to Taxes etc. Not being able to speak / write German is not so bad these days as I found Google conversion tools worked well

72 Euro's is approx $101.54 at the rate when I checked

does anyone know how long does it usually take for packages to arrive to California from Germany? It was sent out on October 10th and the tracking says it is still says that it left Germany on the 16th. And today is the 21st and the status still has not been updated since then. I am very anxious to fly this.

If I had to do this over again Id prolly just sell my 3D and buy a rigid model in the states.
