I got a new credit card in February just so I could track my heli purchases. Year to date is about $2,000.

So true

If you quit rc heli - you sell all your gears @ 50% off of retail and get to keep it all.

If you quit the wife hobby - you sale all your gears @ 50% off of retail and get to keep NOTHING. 1/2 goes to her and the other 1/2 goes to your lawyer.

I've noticed that the cost decrease as I'm getting better. I almost never crash since I somehow has learnt to bail out from all directions. Last time I crashed was due to a stupid radio connection loss.

I know a couple people who just drew up the paperwork themselves using Legal Zoom online, but that only happens when both parties aren't at each other's throats.

Hmmm, an interesting concept, cost decreasing as you get better... though I am noticing that when I get better at one, it is then time to buy something a bit more advanced ergo, the crashes commence once again

As for the wife, well mine is the one who bought me a 4 ch coax for Christmas so the addiction is HER fault!

I would never be able to afford to quit the "wife hobby", I recently had a friend go through a divorce and the judge divided things up great... she got the house, he got the house PAYMENT... she got the car, he got the car PAYMENT... she kept the stuff they bought on the credit cards, he got the credit card PAYMENTS.... yes sir.... gonna hang on to my wife
