Default Siggestion for 6S setup on KDS 600

Hi!

Bought a empty stock KDS 600 inova (V2). I want a tame lowrpm bird (<2000rpm), so much power aint needed, therefore a 6S setup.

My idea was same stuff as on the Dominator 550L. That motor should be more than enough for the KDS 600.

Also, IF I use the motor from 550L, what pinjong would be good?

A lot to think of when not a kit.

Motor, esc, gears are my grafik, the rest is easy.

Oh, thought of 6S 5000 packs. I had the 550L, and can i get thesame power in KDS 600 im happy.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Careful with that motor - that is a low KV for 6s -

ON 550L - the way they get the headspeed up is by using a fairly large pinion (16T) and a fairly small main gear (112T) -
so if you cannt use a similar size - you might have problems....

You are gonna need a fairly powerful motor to lift a 600 at 6s....
Your gonna cook your 6s batts if you not careful.....

I stretched a Trex 550 into a 600 blade spinner - with the 600mx 1220kv - it was just not powerful enough - bog city.......

So I ditched that 6s motor/esc - and started using the 3000mah off my 500's in pairs - went to a super light 12s 600.....now I use crappy low 'C' batts - and they never come down hot....

Found one on Youtube, he use the KDS motor bl5052-1200kv. And 1900rpm. Maybe worth a shoot.

Otherwise, The scorpion 4025-1100kv should do The trick. With a good esc and 6S.

Yeah I have two of the scorpions 4025 1100kv - they are powerhouses -
probably the most used replacement for trex 550's spinning the 520/550 blade size.....

Someone might chime in on how it is turning 600mmm......

I bought some 570mm to try with 600mx and 4025's - just havent got around to it yet....
waitin for a crash - I guess......

If cost is no object - then might look into the Xnova motors -

http://www.xnovamotors.com/xnova-4025-1120kv/

but you'd have to have a 120a esc or better.....

When I was growing up - I had a little Honda enduro motorcycle with about that same HP.....
