if you dont have that large of a space ... the 130x is definately the way to go.

Now if you have a larger space ... BOTH!!!

You could also strap 2x4s to dog poop for even cheaper, but I wouldn't recommend it.

130 no question. I have both , both have their quarks, but you can beat the 130 pretty good. 300 is more of a pain to get running right.

I fly in a 120' square area. the 130x fills it up and then some. I am still learning and it is hard when learning new things to stay in that space. So you may need to go smaller.

Grab the 130x. But for me the 300x was pretty close to flying great right out of the box.

Ugh..drivin me nutz..I wish the 130x came rtf and was priced the same as walkera v120..I mean $400 for a tx and 130x I just don't see $280 for a bnf..I just wish they made the sr like they did the 300x..I like my trucks a lot just want a change of pace..I liked the sr it's a good beginner and reasonable..I'm not an everyday flier...I know ur paying for technology..trust me I get it..I want a heli I can fly outside that I'm not white knuckling it..I had an mcpx b4 I tried to fly it outside and a slight wind it was a handful..the sr was calm in a breeze..I don't know I might just hold out give more time to think it out.

Grab a good used 130x for 200 and a good used dx6i for 100 or less on the for sale forums on here. That's $300 for everything and you'll probably end up with batteries and spare parts too
