Has anyone done a rewind on this motor, Ralph, if you read here, do you know these motors and whether its worthwhile to rewind. the factory windings look pretty nice so I don't wanna mess with it if its not gonna bring substantial improvement

I never had one for rewinding, only for examination.
it is a very special 24 slot shape and special wave winding (over 3 teeth) :

They were the motor to have back in the day. Can't give them away anymore.

Have 2 of them resting on the work bench.
Probly will put on in a Synergy E6 soon..

That sounds seriously complicated for my limited experience, will give it a rest, the motor works well in my scale mikado hughes though so no harm done. What can be the benefit for this type Ralph?

this motor works as 24N8P.
as xera 40xx.
compare the shape about the windability to xera 40XX - with this shape it is easier to wind.
but the shape is not easy to make.
the köhler company (maker of actro) stamps their own plates.

this actro 32 motor was the intention for development of xera 40xx in 2008.
you can read more about it here:

Thanks Ralph, interesting reading, not really worth messing with this one, its nice single wire wind, performs well enough for the application. Guess I'll satisfy my craving by doing a rewind on my wifes kennwood mixer.

Mixer going to make short bread dough in a few nano seconds with it's 10 kW motor. Fit a CC controller and you can bake it at the same time!!!!

If you still crave a rewind, I have a 4035 and a couple of Align motors in need of rewinding?
