Default Advice needed

Hi. Hope I am not posting in the wrong place.

I bought this used fuse.

I have plenty a blade helis and parts so I set out to install a 450x. Needs a few mods to the height...

Got it all in and set up. Flew the heli without the body and seemed to check out. Once installed the body began to shake so bad I couldn't control it.

So my question. I was using used stuff. Should I start a fresh build with new parts and boca bearings? I have probably all the parts I need at home.

Or should I find a Trex to put in and if so, which? FBL or FB?

Thanks in advance for any discussion and advice.

I'm also not sure the stock motor will handle it. Do you set up the same throttle and pitch curves? And 12degree neg and pos pitch?

There's a lot of good info in this thread here.

Start off by going through this thread. Most of us just use a small amount of negative pitch like -3 to -5 so you can bring it down in the wind. I'm sure some other fellas will chime in that have done the same fuse as that one.

Basically, you have the two worst platforms, for a 450 size scale.

The EC-135 fuselage, is tail heavy, has very poor tail authority (especially with a scale 4 blade rotor head), and the mounting platform can be more difficult to work with.

The Blade 450 is under powered for scale, and requires much more creative tinkering to fit into fuselage kits.

Although those build tutorials were done with stock power systems, a 4S power system is optimal for 450 size scale Helis.

4S LiPo, Scorpion -10 or -12 Motor (or any brand with equivalent kv) and Castle Edge 50A ESC (or equivalent 45A-50A ESC).
