Default No 18SZ love?

How come I've seen no chat about the upcoming 18SZ here?

All kinds of chat on it on the 'other' forum.

Just find it bizzare that one of the biggest heli forums has zero chat whatsoever on the 18SZ. I'm hoping to snap one up from RCJapan.net when they arrive.

Same here, I have been waiting for a radio that would live up to the 12fg. The 18mz was to expensive, and the 14sg didn't have the features I wanted.

Yeah I'm really tempted to get one. RCJapan.net will have them from end of July/early August

I will wait for if, it breaks I don't want to send it back to Japan. I had a cgy 750 drifting to the right after a year but sending it back to Japan and let it repair was almost as expensive as a new one.

Why back to Japan? Could you not sent it to ripmax in your country?

Futaba and most other RC manufacturers have country code that can’t be changes. That’s because the distributor for each country is responsible for warranty repair. So it would not be fare for a distributor to have the expense of repairing a radio that they did not sell. Also discourages purchasing a radio from another country just because it has a lower price.

I think you will be very pleased since this is what it is plus telemetry and S.Bus stuff.

Will be awesome if a couple could be at Ircha.

Or one that I could try out at the Futaba booth.

Sounds reasonable to me. They are out in Japan. Not yet at RC Japan. No English Manual yet. Not listed at Ishii Mokei.

I was informed that the release date has been put back to the end of August for Japan.

Might warrant a switch from Jr.... I like DMSS but the price of a fancy radio with a colored touch screen is way above what I can afford...

Do you fly the color touch screen ? Get a Graupner with a color touch screen for half the price.

What I was hoping for in the 18SZ was functionality.

When will the manual be online ?

Can you transfer your models data from the 14SG to the 18SZ without having to reprogram everything ?
