Default Strange Problem After Light Crash

So I over amped my esc (I think) and the bird fell from about 100 ft. Just a skid, blades, tail fin, and one frame side needed replacing. I put her back together this time with 710mm blades and took her for a spin in the backyard. Everything was going well until about 2:30 into the flight it started an un-commanded piro and I auto'ed her down safely. Wierd thing is, I can't find anything wrong on the bench at all and now the tail fin casing is tweaked about 10 degrees. I have no idea what's going on!

Sounds like the tail case slipped, moved forward and the belt came loose? if not check the rear pulley. Mine required red loctite on the grub screw to not back out.

Belt was not loose, as it was at the same tension before I flew, and I already have red loctite on the grub screws. When I hit TH to auto down, it stopped the slow in commanded piro

I had the same problem about 2 months ago. The tail starting piro-ing about 180 degrees to both sides! It was uncontrollable. It ended up being one of my tail grips. The bearings in one tail grip seized, so it became very difficult to turn on the hub. My Torq BL9188 tail servo is not as strong as you think it is, and it did not have enough torque to turn the seized tail blade grip. I replaced the grip and bearings and tail hub...and voila! Everything was fixed!

Well I took her back up and everything was fine... Guess I leaned on the stick and got paranoid or something. Rookie mistake! Then my rudder spring broke on my DX8 and now I can't fly... Sorry for wasting forum space
