Torque Tube

The manual has the 2 bearings on the torque tube evenly spaced from each other, and evenly spaced from the ends.

What gives?

This is in complete contradiction to the 600 where the bearing is offset to help reduce vibration. If the bearings are evenly spaced, they act like nodes and set up a harmonic vibration.

Any idea why they went away from this when they got it right the first time?

The situation with 2 bearings is a bit different. To crate a harmony wave the length of the middle section has to be twice the length (or multiplied by two) of the outer sections.
That's obviously not the case for critical lower frequencies and not an issue on higher ones. But it does not hurt to have it just a few millimeters offset ..

Does anyone know of an online manual for the trex 700 engine... I didnt get one and need some pointers on what the short needle valve is for and for tuning info.

Ty but the individual part numbers are still in chinese or something I can not read. AQll the previous manuals have had the actual part number along side it --usually aghn#### or something like, that please see pic ;0)
