I'm running 560's and 30C 6S 4500mAh in my Logo 500 without any problems...

Next time I'll give the 5000mAh a try.

Logo's are a very lightweight machine, I've also run 4300s in the past, depends what you want, duration versus light weight.

Yes, the Logo's are lightweight machines.

As for duration vs. lightweight, the Logo 500 is said to perform best on 5000mAh packs.

That's what "everyone" runs, including the professionals. - And I take it they want duration...?

The Logo 500 is a lightweight machine with 5000's anyway.

Steve is on vacation in Conn.. But I will call him and let him know what I think if Charley goes to the port-o-let at the field and there is a charged pack anywhere in sight.

just looking at that frame design again and you got the motor pinion sitting right where the tail drive gear would be, must be some little system going on there to drive main gear and belt.

I think the tail drive gear will be underneath the main gear. Like on the Raptor E620.

ah, single stage drive with the belt going right round a gear on the main shaft?
That would allow the motor pinion to miss the belt.

looks like main-shaft belt driven tail to me. The silver tail-drive looking thing appears to be an idler pulley. If that is the case I am diggin it. Looks like maybe a belt-drive from motor to main as well? Tough to tell, but motor looks kinda far from the main-shaft in the pic.

So many questions and just one picture. The suspense! I think Charley is pulling a page from Align's playbook. Get us all happy about one thing (G5), let it set in for a quick second, then show some early pics of the next thing.

My credit card is trembling in fear right now.

Primary drive is gear to gear. Tail drive is belt around pulley mounts to main gear. These are the only parts other than the frames that I have seen... But Charley was due to be back from overseas last night so... I am hoping to see him at the field tomorrow.

I flew it, I flew it, I flew it
I can't see any reason anyone would be disappointed in this thing... I rocks.
It is just the perfect size
Power was off the hook
I snuck a pic of it with my webcam. not the best pic but maybe we can shame Charley into posting some good ones.
