Yep good question. On my 700 I can feel it on the ground by play in the spindle. Will this happen on the ground on the Aurora when it is time to replace them?

well yes, grabbing the blade grips and giving the head a good wobble will tell you when they are getting soft, but only if you can either 1) remember what the old ones felt like or 2) have something to reference them off

I just feel it in the sky. I did do any serious hard stops in that flight (like the lucas riva 1/2 piro stop thing he does) as i was worried about taking my boom off with my blades, but the easiest way to feel it is in hard pull up stops, or in nose up tick tocks. you can see when i come down backwards into a tick tock, there is a wobble and a pause every time i switch the collective and cyclic directions. this is beacuse you have a relativly large mass being changed direction fast, and what you get is this "lag" and "wobble" from it. its hard to explain in words but easy to show in real life

Basically the heli feels less precise in hard cyclic elevator movements, you dont notice it so much in aileron movements as you do not have the same mass leverage with sideways forces...

hope it makes sense!

My flybarless maiden !
CampMeet 09-09 Goof's flybarless maiden... (3 min 34 sec)

Still need to finetune it, lower the tail response etc. Only big thing is i need to put the sk 360 in another place because my canopy doesn't fit now.
But the way it flys, in one word awesome !!!

Here is a full vid of me flying the aurora. Had a few issues with this heli and i have just got it dialed in nicely now. Loving every minute of it. Absolute pleasure to fly.
