Converting FB to FBL
So Im converting my 600N to FBL
I have the new main shaft, DFC head and swash installed. I'm using a Bavarian demon for FBL and was going to mount it up front but because the leads are coming out of the top, the canopy doesn't fit. Is there a different tray i should be using to mount the gyro on so I can fit canopy on. Thanks in advance Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk |

There is a gyro tray that fits on top of the aileron servos. That is where I have my FBL unit and no problem with the canopy.

Thabk you. I ended up moving the FBL to the back. I also have too much mechanical gain so I need to work on that.

Unfortunately most Align models are not best suited to FBL for some reason or other with quite poor geometry. The indirect bell cranks being one of them. You would of thought they would of been re-engineered to a 1:1 ratio with possibly a new frame design to the move them back a little.

Custom Helicopter Parts make such a frame conversion.

Mine had those but because I went FBL I had way too much mechanical gain so when I wanted to set 6 degrees to set the geometry I had to go way down in servo throw. This has an inner hole so I can have more servo throw to achieve the same amount of mechanical throw.

Your picture shows the standard aileron lever that is an amplifier and that is what I have. I also use the same servo horn setup the same.
Where does the part you linked to fit because the part you linked in post #8 isn't an aileron lever? |

So can I just flip the swash around and connect directly to the servo horns?
