Default A50 and F90-V2

Hello,

I have different AHFs A50 Aeolus (GF, TT-version and EP E50). On the other side I have a Frenzy 90 V2.

So can't speak flight-capability wise, but:

- difference in building ..
- wear and parts quality ..
- spare's availability ..

I like both, but flight wise it's never fair, to compare a 50' bird with a 90' size bird, so comparing ease-of-build, wear/parts quality and spares:

- the AHF has way better manual and less mistakes in it ..
- parts quality of the AHF is way better too (e.g threads of my F90 are partially poorly made, side-frames were cut pretty bad)
- spare price and availability: Frenzy has lower spare prices than an Aeolus has, as long as you live in the US or you buy from Hobbyking (on avg. maybe -20% to -40%). Spare availability is better of the AHF-product, there are more dealers ww and knowing which parts are compatible with the old T-Rex 600 Nitro, some parts have the same spare-availability as Align (as you can rely on them).

So comparing this points and the fact, that all of our Aeolus 50's on our FF do very well, I would tend to recommend the A50 Aeolus,

Would I miss my Frenzy 90V2 ? Not at all, at least as long as AHF doesn't offer a 90' size bird being that easy designed (to build and rebuild after crash), as the Aeolus 50 is. The A50 does have some cons, but reading here on HF or in the web, you will easely find out the simple fix.

Best Regards,
Oliver
