I'm being optimistic today. the Vacaville Reporter ran an article stating they caught two teens stealing from cars this weekend on the corner near my house. The officer working the case was off today so I couldn't find out if they had recovered my Protos. Wish me luck..tomorrow night at 9PM is when officer is back on duty.

Just talked to police officer who arrested the teens in my neighborhood on Saturday morning. They have my helicopter in evidence at police station and I can go down tomorrow during business hours and retrieve it. I'm very happy. Hopefully nothing is damaged but atleast I'm getting something back...

Im happy! Reunited with my heli as of 130pm today. Thank you Vacaville PD.

Besides a new hairline crack on canopy (which already had few few from normal use) all is good. Weather was garbage but i was able to hover it around a bit.

Take a moment to write the Officers a Commendation for their hard work. They will be grateful that you did.

Gratz on getting the heli back, but I have a serious question. After being a towtruck driver for the RCMP here in Canada* Vancouver area* for 6 years, and seeing tons of stolen cars and vehicles broken into... why would you leave a heli which is huge bucks in the back seat of your car? Even covered up that is a silly thing to do. Kids, crack heads, etc break into cars all the time to steal stuff to pawn off for money.. cd's, ipods, change, etc etc.. leaving anything of any value in your car/truck/suv even with an alarm is just plain silly.

Please do not take offence to my comments, some times we all make silly mistakes and I just wished to point out that when your done flying, take the bird inside your house.

Once again, gratz on getting her back in one piece
