Default Stuffed my Protos showin off.

Well, 4:53 minutes of f;light time since my last crash on my Protos. Actually longer.. Thats since I got my Taranis and can log actual IU hrs. I share a field with Paragliders. One was there today. So I'm blastin the 700N around, makin good blade farts and smoky tic tocs. Then I could see thunderclouds comin in. Time to run the last Protos pack. I'm showing off, high speed inverted backwards passes, flip to normal then into a piro flip. Well this time I guess I slowly started the piroflip inverted. Not really sure what I did, but against the black thunderclouds I lost orientation. Stuffed her full pitch sideways into Terra Firma.

Main blades
Canopy standoffs (canopy has one spidercrack in the paint by the mounting ear)
Tail case broke off
Belt snapped.
Boom bent 15* at frame.
1 FBL Long Uniball bent

Thats it!!!! Was a LOUD THUD too
I love my Protos! Plastic Fantastic!!! Even the plastic frame survived unhurt.
Although, I am stretch boom, been running 430 blades. Think it's time I go full bore stretch with 470 blades I think.

That's not bad Dan. I have one on the way, so looking forward to the build and setup. Good to hear it survived well.

The carnage. Even the KBDD tails survived.

Protos usually seem to handle the unscheduled pretty well, as long as you don't stuff it nose first which for me seems to be hard on frames and battery trays.
Of course we all know if you go in skids first you might bounce to the moon before breaking anything.

Accidentally hit TH once when testing, flicked it back off and jumped it up to about 30 feet, but didn't have bailout enabled at the time. Done my best to mini auto. Resulting in a hard landing and a bounce 5 foot in the air. Pretty amazing sure beat snapped skids tipover and busted blades.
