One thing I did notice today on mine is that the blade tracking is well out. I have twiddled with V2 and V1 with Dip switch 11, I did actually get a stable hover for about 3 seconds before it decided to rotate anf head for a wall. I think I need to experiment a bit more.

Well after a lot of twiddling, I've actually got it flying stable and the tail is now holding. I have V2 at 9 o'clock and V1 at 10 o'clock. It's actually hovering quiet nicely. Cheers Dusty for the tips.

Pleased to hear you got it in the air

Did you sort the blade tracking?

Dusty

Yep, certainly did. It must have been like that since I bought it.

Oh well, the flight was short lived. Crashed it and the rear motor falls off now every time I crash it and i'm having the same problems again. I'm close to retiring the 4G3 to a dusty shelf. Hope getting my 450 up in the air isn't this bad. Thinking of getting a 4#3. I'm losing the will to live with this heli.

Gary, after working with the 4G3 my t-rex 450s (3) fly like a dream. I'm still in the hover stage but normally all three comes home in one piece. I believe if you cal learn to hover the 4G3 the 450 will be a piece of cake Regards, Calvin

I guarantee it'll take a lot more fixing when you crash it than the 4G3 does

Get Terence's 4G6 crash kit and move the 4G3 parts into it. Get a 16T pinion for the old WK 003 BL. 4G6 works just fine with the 4G3 TX, but if flies spectacularly better than 4G3.
