Default New tail blades KBDD ???

KBDD 112mm tail blades.

These look to be new? Or have they had these. They look like they have a metal insert in the root.

Has anyone tried these yet? I just ordered a set from Nankin for the heck of it but I was curious if anyone elsehad a chance to fly them yet?

I have been flying these for a couple of weeks now on a 7HV and a Trex 700E.

In truth, I never had any hold issues with the KBDD EE 104's on these machines, but the tail control is even better and more positive with the larger blades.

I turned the tail rotor gain down on the Trex 700E, and was able to turn it up slightly on the 7HV.

The are slightly louder than the 104's (the tip speed is higher, due to the larger diameter of the tail rotor disk), bu this is normal.

And yes, the roots have metal re-enforcement, which is nice on this large a blade.

I have between 20 and 30 flights on them and really like them.

Only place I found them was heli wholesaler which is a distributor not a dealer. My guess is they should be to dealers soon. I want to try them.

Got to try a set last weekend and have to say I'm impressed. The hold pretty damn good at low head speeds like 1600 and 1700 smack flying

They're nice; I have over a dozen flights with them I think. They are gonna be almost 2g heavier than say Edge 115, but that is fine. They work good, especially at lower HS like Forrest said. The inserts are a great addition, as you could run risk of breaking root with this size.

I just put 7 flight on them yesterday at 1700 and 1600 hs just fine 1700 was smack flying and the 1600hs is for big air an smooth flying. New tail blades are work very well.

Forrest,

It was very good meeting you and Jeff and having the opportunity to fly with both of you!
