Default HELP! - Mainshaft removal problem

I have a 200 and 200 V2. Got both secondhand, "RTF" - so didn't build them myself. (have built numerous other helis)

Despite removing all collars I cannot extract the V2 Mainshaft. It will slide freely up and down about 5mm within the one-way bearing, but stops solidly in both directions. I can see no burrs.

I note on spare shafts there is a hole near the lower end which is hidden within the main gear.

I see no use for this hole on the (rudimentary) manual - might it contain a pin? Might a ball or roller bearing from the one-way have got loose into this hole?

If no solutions will have to dismantle frame, but am reluctant to do this if there is a simple explanation.

Many thanks for any help.

Philip

My way to remove my bent mainshaft is, I first uninstall the head system and the bottom plate and then hitting down the mainshaft carefully not too hard using a handle of screwdriver.
