Default When you use 12s how much Mah do you use

When you use 12s (2x6S) how much Mah do you use ?
And how long do you fly with them ?

I'm building a Trex600 ESP
I'm planning to use 3000 Mah
But I want to make sure I'm going to order the right one's........

I also fly 3D (beginner)

Never more than 80% of your rated pack...3000 you should draw no more than 2400, any more will degrade your packs and shorten there life.

I have 10S (2x5S) Trex-600 with TunderPower 3850mAh 30C .
Moderate hovering and scale flight (4kg.100gr) => 12min up to 3.3V per cell.
Average W=670; RPM=1820; Current ~18-20A;
Blades=RotorTech 610x57mm.
Scorpion 4025-740.

One more important thing:

Go for 30C or higher. With 20C 3900mAh I have ~1.5min less flight time.

I also realized that I have to go for 5000mAh 2x5S as extra weight still compensated by longer flight time.

I am expecting to get over 16min with scale flight style (4kg.300gr).

The extra battery weight is well compensated by longer flying time for sure !!!

I have tried the 2650s and 3000 mAH packs, in 3:30 I pulled 2100 out of the 2650, and I am getting 4 minutes with the 3000 packs, and putting 2400ish back in them, they are 30 and 40C respectively.

11 1 09 Trex 600 12S (3 min 40 sec)

To me the most impressive fact is after that flight the packs were a few degrees above 100, and so far they have never been above 110?

I don't have any video of the heli with the 3000 packs, flies about the same, it's 100g heavier. here is a photo of the packs mounted though...

Anywhere from 2600mah to 3300 Mah. I used to fly some 2600 mah for 3 minutes, then i got some 3000, and fly for 4 minutes where they were new, and i have some 3200 that i also fly for 4 min.

3200 35c lipos.

T-rex 600 ESP Neumotors 12s (4 min 26 sec)

3000 20c Lipos

T-rex 600 ESP 12s 3d flight (4 min 22 sec)

A pair of 6s Turnigy 3000Mah 30/40c packs balance very well with a vertical battery mount. Any heavier would make it nose heavy.

However, the 6s Turnigy 3000Mah 40/50c packs are selling for the same price.
