Default New Spectra-G...

Finally got everything together... TRM motor, Raja's generator, electronics.....

I'm gathering the courage to open the first bag and then start fuming because I don't see the pull starter in any of the bags.... Then I realized it's attached the engine..

Yes I'm nervous! haha...

Default Search for the 2mm washer in the kit taped to a piece of paper

Its supposed to be installed on the bottom of the engine before the dogbone starter for the pull start. You need to unscrew that piece, put the washer on, and screw it back on with some blue locktite.

Some people forget that piece, or try to install the nut instead below the dogbone.... The nut is to be used for electric start only (with no pullstart dogbone), which is not the case for you since you have the Jewel. Just the washer before to install the engine to the frame.

Good luck and enjoy the build!

Default Pull start, et. al.

Yes - thanks Raja.

Looks like MA is sending out a different washer now as well along with an updated instruction for install.

Also posted on another thread but I've already found missing pieces. Two 0067 M3x14 bolts for the bottom of the head are missing from bag 1B. Looks like at least one other person had the same problem. I can probably find them at the local hardware store but still, kinda stinks.

Default Don't sweat it too much

Build the entire kit, make a list of what is missing and I'm 100% sure MA will send them to you to complete your kit.

+100 on that. no doubts at all, my kit was missing alot of m3x10 bolts, stole some from an rc car to finnish and the missing stuff was promptly sent out free of charge.
