Default Rave 450 mini V Bar conversion

I am converting from flybarred to flybarless with the mini Vbar.
The servo horns are 12.5mm balls per flybarred instructions.
I had to buy the flybarless parts separately and the instructions were nor existant!
Will this work on the mini VBar?

Thanks

It's the same instructions for the FBL servo horn setups. I ended up with my mini-v putting the balls 10mm (second from farthest ball) from the center of the servo output shaft. Basically following the 12.5mm instructions the throw was too much and I had to dial down the collective travel and cyclic trim way below the sweet range. Moving the balls in allowed me to stay in the green.

Thanks for asking this. And thanks for the answer. I'm about to v-barify my rave soon too.

Admittedly I'm still pretty new with the vbar stuff and the first flight proved to be a little less responsive on the cyclic than I'm happy with. I'm going to first mess with some vbar settings, and if it's still not responsive enough I'll probably go with expo followed by moving the balls out to the 12.5mm range.

If you look in the vbar forum the updated videos Mr. Mel does for the new vbar version are done with a Rave 450 which is highly informative.

I use 10mm with great results. Crisp and quick cyclic on my miniV Rave.

12.5 will give you lower than optimum numbers during Vbar setup but it seems to fly fine that way.
